Arsenal are being linked with a surprise move for former player Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The central midfielder, who can also play on the right-wing, right-wing back or in midfield, moved to Liverpool from Arsenal in 2017.
Oxlade-Chamberlain had spent the previous six years with the north London club.
According to The Sun, Arsenal are considering moving for the 28-year-old in January, should he be available on loan or as a cut-price permanent transfer.
The midfielder is struggling for regular minutes at Liverpool, while his old Gunners teammate and current head coach Mikel Arteta may believe that Oxlade-Chamberlain can offer energy, passing quality, and goals to his midfield.
