Arsenal players held training ground talks with the club's hierarchy over the Super League proposal.
It was confirmed that 12 clubs had signed up as 'founding members' of the breakaway league, which included Arsenal and five other English clubs.
Chief executive Vinai Venkatesham has been leading the discussions.
Venkatesham has been trying to explain to players why being a part of the Super League is the best thing for the club.
The players are seeking answers about the implications of joining the competition, which could include them being barred from playing for their national teams.
