Arsenal physio call pays off with Partey

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has been handed a huge boost regarding the fitness of a key player.

The Spanish coach was likely concerned about the availability of key midfielder Thomas Partey.

However, it has emerged that despite missing a game for Ghana in the African Cup of Nations qualifying, Partey is fit to play against Leeds United on Saturday.

Arsenal's lead performance physio, Simon Murphy, traveled with Partey for international duty.

The club believe, per football.london, that he should be able to play or be on the bench against Leeds.

One who is still a doubt is defender William Saliba, who did not play during the international break.
