Galatasaray are closing on a deal for Arsenal attacker Lukas Podolski.

The Times says Podolski is heading to the Turkish giants after Inter Milan decided against signing him on a permanent deal.

He joined Serie A side Inter on loan in January but failed to impress with just one goal for the Serie A side.

"I cannot confirm anything," the Germany international said. "I have a year of my contract with Arsenal left and I have talked to other clubs.

"I'm open to everything."
