Feyenoord attacking midfielder Orkun Kocku is the subject of negotiations with Arsenal.
The Daily Mail says the Gunners have opened talks over a £23million summer swoop for Kokcu.
Feyenoord want to extend Kokcu's current deal, which expires in 2023, but there are concerns at the Dutch club that they do not have the financial power to keep the midfielder given his growing status as one of Europe's most promising young players.
Arsenal want to capitalise on the growing uncertainty over Kokcu's future and are moving to strike an early deal for the teenager.
Technical director Edu has identified the youngster as a priority signing for the club ahead of next season.
