Arsenal have been offered a clear run at Juventus midfielder Arthur Melo.
Arthur is favourite of Gunners chief Edu.
Calciomercato.com says Mikel Arteta's side are still keen to sign him and will try again this summer.
Juventus may have to consider offloading the midfielder to make way for Paul Pogba, who is expected to re-join on a free transfer from Manchester United.
The Italian giants value Arthur at around £39million, but they have also considered using him in a swap deal for either of Gunners pair Gabriel Magalhaes or Gabriel Martinelli.
Arsenal are said to be willing to pay £21m for him, without a swap deal included.
