Arsenal offer Alexandre Lacazette to Real Madrid

Arsenal have offered Alexandre Lacazette to Real Madrid, it has been revealed.

France Football says Arsenal have told Real Madrid they can sign Lacazette after the La Liga giants made an initial approach for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Barcelona have been keeping tabs on the 30-year-old Gabon international, while Manchester United are also thought to be interested.

However, Real Madrid are looking to steal a march on their rivals by making an early enquiry.

Los Blancos have asked Gunners chiefs about the possibility of completing a deal this summer, but Arsenal are desperate to keep hold of their captain and will offer him a contract extension.

They instead put France international Lacazette, who they signed for an initial £46.5million in 2017, forward as an alternative for Zinedine Zidane's side.
