Arsenal not convinced by Wolves boss Nuno

Arsenal have toned down their interest in Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo.

The Portuguese coach was seen as an early frontrunner to take over from Unai Emery at the Emirates Stadium club.

But The Times claims that Arsenal's board are not convinced Nuno is the right man to take the club forward.

They are concerned about his communication with the players and fans, and how he would handle the pressure of greater expectations.

The club will continue with Freddie Ljungberg as a caretaker while they try to find the ideal candidate in the coming weeks and months.

Brendan Rodgers, Mauricio Pochettino, Mikel Arteta, Carlo Ancelotti, and Massimiliano Allegri are among the rumoured candidates.
