Super scout Andre Cury faces being squeezed out at Barcelona.

The South American expert has been with Barca for 12 years and was key to the original signing of Neymar from Santos in 2013.

Mundo Deportivo says Cury, who has a contract to 2021, could be forced out as part of cost-cutting due to the coronavirus lockdown in Spain.

Cury is regarded among the best talent spotters in football, but appears not to be in the plans of Barca football director Eric Abidal.

Cury's avialability is sure to spark a scramble for his services, with Arsenal a potential employer where former Barca manager Raul Sanllehi is now part of the front office.
