Arsenal, Newcastle target Rennes teen Georginio Rutter

Rennes teenage sensation Georginio Rutter is attracting Premier League interest.

The Mirror says Arsenal are battling Newcastle, RB Leipzig, Lyon and AC Milan for Rutter.

The 18-year-old striker has turned down a new deal at the French club, and the race is on to snap him up - with a reported valuation of £10m pounds.

Rutter, described as a powerful, quick and technical forward, has impressed Arsenal's scouts over the last year playing for Rennes B and the France U19s. And the Emirates club believe their are in pole position to secure a deal.

The player's contract ends in June 2021 and although Rennes are trying to seal a new long-term deal, negotiations have stalled and they are now resigned to selling either now or in January.
