Premier League interest is being encouraged in Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

Arsenal and Newcastle United are both keen on prising the Serb away from Rome this summer.

La Gazzetta dello Sport says Milinkovic-Savic is set to turn down a new contract offer tabled by Lazio.

The proposal would see Milinkovic-Savic's wages jump to €4m-a-year plus bonuses and also include a €60m buyout clause.

But the midfielder is set to reject the offer to present Lazio with a dilemma as his present deal expires at the end of next season,.
