Arsenal management are dealing in sacked AS Roma football chief Monchi.
The 50-year-old Spaniard quit as Roma's sporting director today following the sacking of coach Eusebio di Francesco.
And he has wasted no time sorting out his next move following the offer from Arsenal to oversee their backroom shake-up, says The Sun.
Monchi was personally recommended by Unai Emery after the pair successfully co-operated at Sevilla.
He will work alongside head of football operations Raul Sanllehi organising the club's transfer activity following the resignation of head of recruitment Sven Mislintat last month.
And his imminent arrival at the Emirates means he will be able to begin identifying potential new signings before the transfer window opens in June.
