Arsenal move late to trump PSG for Man Utd contract rebel Herrera

Arsenal are moving Manchester United contract rebel Ander Herrera.

L'Equipe says the defensive midfielder appears to be on his way out of the Premier League after failing to agree terms on a new contract at Old Trafford.

A deal to take him to French champions PSG is very nearly done.

But Arsenal are preparing an eleventh-hour offer to try and keep the 29-year-old in England.

PSG are very much in the driving seat, but the Gunners can't be discounted.

United also haven't given up hope of keeping the Spaniard at Old Trafford.
