Arsenal's move for Celtic fullback Kieran Tierney remains alive.
Sky Sports says the deal is almost complete with Arsenal simply needing to bump their offer up a tad. The Hoops want in the region of £25million for their star left-back, 22, with Tierney thought to be interested in a move to the Gunners.
Tierney is said to be "happy" at Celtic, but is intrigued at the prospect of moving to the Premier League.
The news comes less than a day after Hoops fans were given a major boost in their hopes of keeping hold of their defensive star.
Talks appeared to have stalled as Arsenal - who are close to landing Real Madrid's Dani Ceballos on loan - failed to match the club's £25m valuation, originally bidding just £15m.
