Arsenal midfielder Xhaka: Emery was silent; I don't know why

Granit Xhaka admits Arsenal's players were stunned into silence after their Europa League final thrashing by Chelsea.

Xhaka has opened up on how gutted the players were, having suffered an embarrassing defeat by their Premier League rivals.

“Him (manager Unai Emery), the players, nobody speaks in the dressing room," said Xhaka.

When asked why Emery had remained silent, he added: “I don't know. He was disappointed of course.

“I think we know what we played. We know we lost the game. It is not about shouting. It is not about shouting everything if we lose.

“You can say a lot now but it is not the time to explain why and what happens. I think it was a big chance for us and we don't take it."
