Aaron Ramsey will not travel to Dublin for Wales' clash with the Republic of Ireland on Tuesday.

The Arsenal midfielder, who earned his 56th cap in the loss to Spain last week, has withdrawn due to family reasons.

His situation was mentioned by manager Ryan Giggs' prior to the Spain game.

Giggs said: "We have to weigh it up and it's something for us to assess.

"Obviously we are at home for the first game. That's a plus, but we are just monitoring the situation."
