Arsenal ace Aaron Ramsey hailed the passion they showed for victory over Manchester United.

Ramsey impressed for the 2-0 win.

He told arsenal.com: "We knew it was going to be difficult and they're in a very good run of form at the moment, so we had to bring our A game today and we managed to do that. We deserved the result in the end and to a man we left everything out on the pitch.

"Of course, it's tight and we made up a few points on a few teams today. It was important for us because we knew how difficult this match would be and the significance of it, so we knew we needed a good performance and I'm just glad that we could produce that today."

Ramsey added: "I think to a man we left everything out on the pitch and we worked our socks off. We created a few opportunities in the first half hour of the game and I thought we controlled the game very well. We know that we're strong at home and we're on a good run, so hopefully that can continue."
