Arsenal midfielder Martin Odegaard has spoken of first coming across Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.
Haaland is one of the most talked about forwards in world football and Odegaard was asked about first coming across his Norway teammate.
"My first memory with him was actually to watch him on TV," Odegaard told a fans Q&A.
"I was watching him when he started playing in the league, but personally I think we played together for the first time with the under-21s against Germany and that's where I met him. Since then we had a good connection on and off the pitch and we are close friends today.
"Erling kind of exploded you know, I remember watching him play against Brann, a Norwegian team, and he scored four goals, so that's when I really noticed him for the first time. So I remember that game."
