Arsenal playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan has returned to training.

The club are hopeful Mkhitaryan will be available for next week's FA Cup fourth-round clash with Manchester United.

The Armenian has been out of action since December 19 after fracturing a metatarsal in his foot.

It was anticipated that Mkhitaryan would miss the whole of January due to the injury.
