Arsenal midfielder Maitland-Niles involved in crash; one car left on its side

Arsenal midfielder Ainsley Maitland-Niles emerged unscathed after a car crash on Wednesday morning.

The Mirror reports Maitland-Niles walked away uninjured from a motorway crash that left a car on its side.

The highly-rated 23-year-old, who has five England caps, was involved in a crash on the M25 on Wednesday morning.

It is understood a Mercedes G-Class car ended up on its side after a collision with another car at around 6am.

The crash involving the Premier League star is believed to have happened between Junctions 24 and 25 close to Enfield, North London.

An Arsenal spokesman told the Mirror: "All we know having spoken to him is he was involved in an accident, he's unhurt and he's at home."
