Arsenal could welcome back Dani Ceballos for Saturday's Emirates FA Cup fourth-round clash at Southampton.

The Spaniard missed Monday's win over Newcastle United due to a calf complaint.

In an update on their website, Arsenal stated: "Missed Monday's match against Newcastle United as a precaution with tight calf.

"Dani will continue to be assessed in the coming days and will be tested ahead of Saturday's match."

Pablo Mari, also sidelined with a calf strain, will return to training next week.
