Arsenal medical chief O'Driscoll slams Caicedo: Disgraceful, disgraceful foul

Arsenal medical chief Gary O'Driscoll has slammed Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo after his clash with Gabriel Martinelli.

Martinelli was forced off after 20 minutes into Arsenal's 3-0 defeat.

Caicedo's clash came after Martinelli had cleaned out Brighton winger Kaoru Mitoma minutes earlier.

A fan caught up with O'Driscoll in the stadium carpark after the match and asked him about Martinelli.

Asked how Martinelli is, O'Driscoll replied: "Sore."

The Sun says the fan then raised the tackle which forced Martinelli off, with O'Driscoll replying: "Terrible foul, disgraceful, disgraceful foul."

He then added: "He's a bit sore but he should be ok.

Will he be back for the end of the season?

"Yeah, I think he'll be back."

O'Driscoll also commented on Oleks Zinchenko and William Saliba's fitness concerns.

"Not sure about him (Zinchenko), everyone's fighting to be back for the next game.

"Saliba? Same. Next game."
