Mesut Ozil has come out in defence of his Arsenal manager admist reports the Frenchman will not have his contract extended at the end of the season.
Wenger has been under a cloud of scrutiny this year as Arsenal sits outside the top-four with four matches remaining. The Gunners have not missed out on Champions League qualification for 20 years, and many fans are asking for a fresh change in the summer.
Ozil believes people should pay more respect to the 3 times Premier League title winning manager.
He said: "When you're not successful - or not as successful as you'd like to be - there's always a lot of talk from people outside and people who maybe think they know things better.
"For example, ex-players or pundits; people who'd like to be in his position.
"But what's important is that you have trust in him. He's a big coach and has given massive amounts for this club and he deserves respect."
