Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta says new goalkeeper Mat Ryan has not taken long to settle at the club.
Ryan has arrived on loan from Brighton for the rest of the season.
The 28-year-old is someone the club is expecting to provide stable backup for no.1 Bernd Leno, when required.
And Arteta says Ryan has wasted no time in settling into his new surroundings.
The Spaniard told reporters: "He's settled really quickly.
"I was really impressed when I talked to him.
"He's really focused, really engaged with what we want to do.
"He's a very professional guy and he's coming here to compete with Alex [Rúnarsson] and with Bernd.
"That's the mentality and the desire that we want for any player that joins our club."
