Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was pleased with the performances of Aaron Ramsdale and Martin Odegaard over the weekend.
Odegaard was making his second debut for the club, having spent six months of last season on loan before completing a permanent move from Real Madrid this summer.
Ramsdale, signed from Sheffield United last week, marked his first Arsenal appearance with a clean sheet.
"[Martin Odegaard and Aaron Ramsdale were] very good, the both of them," Arteta told reporters.
"Martin gives us something different we don't have with any other player.
"Aaron looked very comfortable. He's a big personality."
