Arsenal and Manchester United are launching fresh bids for Lille midfielder Boubakary Soumare.

The youngster is back on the agenda of European giants with the summer market now well underway.

Soumare came close to moving to England in January when LOSC accepted a bid from Newcastle United for his services, only for the midfielder to insist on seeing out the season with Lille.

Foot Mercato says transfer interest is now beginning to spark again.

United are ready to formalise their long-running interest, though it is the Gunners which are expected to first make an offer for Soumare.

The 21 year-old is also on the radar of AC Milan, though they lack the spending power of their English rivals.
