Arsenal, Man Utd alerted as Roma plan Manolas sale

AS Roma are prepared to sell Kostas Manolas this summer.

The Mirror says Roma want to remove Kostas Manolas' release clause from his contract in order to get more money out of his suitors, according to reports in Italy.

The Greek international has been linked with a host of Europe's top clubs, including Premier League duo Arsenal and Manchester United as well as the likes of Bayern Munich and Roma's Serie A rivals Juventus.

The clubs are queuing up in the hope of triggering Manolas' £31.5million release clause, with United having been linked with the former Olympiakos man for several months.

Arsenal are also reportedly keen to allow Manolas to link up with fellow Greeks Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Konstantinos Mavropanos at the Emirates Stadium.
