Bayer Leverkusen director Fernando Carro states that Patrick Schick will not leave this summer.

The centre-forward is a key target for several top teams this summer, considering his impressive form.

Schick has 20 goals in 20 Bundesliga starts this term, which has attracted the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City.

Asked about Schick by Sky Sports Germany, Carro stated: "No we're not going to sell Schick, we count on him playing with us for the next few years."

While such news may deter some teams, Premier League clubs such as Arsenal and Manchester City may believe they can offer a transfer fee that is too good for Leverkusen to turn down.
