Arsenal have made an opening offer for PSG fullback Thomas Meunier.

TMW says the Gunners have tabled a bid of €25m for the Belgium international.

The offer was made after it was announced Stephan Lichtsteiner would be leaving at the end of the month.

Gunners boss Unai Emery worked with Meunier at PSG and sees him as the ideal replacement for Lichtsteiner.

For his part, Meunier expects to be sold this summer after PSG decided against offering him a new deal.
