Arsenal have made an opening bid for West Ham United captain Declan Rice.

Rice is a priority target for the Gunners this summer amid talk of Bayern Munich suddenly expressing interest.

And Sky Deutschland says after making their move, Bayern have learned Arsenal have tabled a first bid for Rice.

Arsenal have made a £70m offer for the midfielder in recent days.

West Ham are yet to respond, though they're expected to wait for further bids, with Manchester United and Manchester City also keen.
