Arsenal are reportedly keeping an eye on Lille star Renato Sanches.

The 23-year-old impressed at Euro 2020 with Portugal, who were eliminated by Belgium at the last-16 stage on Sunday.

According to 90min, the Gunners have asked Lille to keep them informed on any potential developments with the players' future.

Sources close to the player have revealed Sanches wants to prove himself in the Premier League, having failed to do so during a brief loan spell with Swansea City back in the 2017/18 season.

The Golden Boy winner has rejuvenated his career in France, helping Lille claim the Ligue 1 title this past season.

There is no doubt Lille will be asking for more than the £21.4m they paid for Sanches' signature last summer.

The Gunners board are backing Mikel Arteta with a big transfer kitty, some of which will be spent on Brighton defender Ben White.
