Roma midfielder Leandro Paredes is being tracked by Arsenal.

Paredes, who was scouted by Liverpool last season while on-loan with Empoli, returned to Roma this summer and quickly established himself in coach Luciano Spalletti's line-up.

TMW says the Argentine's form has attracted the interest of Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.

Contact has been made with Paredes' management team and a January move to London has been discussed.

However, Arsenal are willing to wait until the summer should Roma prove stubborn negotiators in the coming weeks.
