Newcastle United are pushing ahead with plans to secure midfielder Joe Willock permanently.
The Arsenal loanee has impressed with the Magpies since arriving in January.
The 21-year-old has scored some vital goals to help the team move away from the relegation zone.
Accoridng to Football Insider, Willock has already told teammates he wants to stay at the club next season.
He would be happy to sign a permanent deal, as he does not believe there is space for him within the Arsenal first team.
Willock's future could be tied to Arsenal's attempts to secure Martin Odegaard permanently from Real Madrid.
