Arsenal loanee Reiss Nelson is targeting a senior England call-up after a scintillating performance for the U21s against Andorra on Thursday night.
The 18-year-old, currently on loan at Hoffenheim, scored with a fabulous flick in the 7-0 victory.
Nelson has watched fellow youngsters Jadon Sancho and Mason Mount make the Three Lions squad this week and he now wants to do the same.
"Gareth [Southgate] has made it clear that the pathway is there so if you're young and you're good he'll give you a chance," Nelson said. "It's good for me that I came through the ranks, I came from U16s all the way up to U21s.
"I'm trying to get in there and do my magic. A little bit showed today and I'm very happy to be there."
Reiss Nelson only needed 20 mins to show what he's got for the #ThreeLions
