Ajax star Hakim Ziyech admitted that he rejected an opportunity to sign for Sevilla.

The Morocco international was a star for the Dutch club last term, managing 16 goals and 13 assists.

The 26-year-old is linked to clubs such as Arsenal and Liverpool.

"I feel at home here and get to play a lot," Ziyech said to Fox Sports after his side's first game of the season.

"I think Sevilla are at the same level as Ajax and I won't leave Ajax for no improvement."
