Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette has refused to move club who are not competing in the Champions League.
The French international has been strongly linked with the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool and the latest update will come as a blow for the Reds who will only be playing Europa League next season.
The 23-year old striker, who has also been mentioned in the same breath as Barcelona and Real Madrid, scored 27 goals for the Ligue 1 runners-up last term and was named France's player of the season.
"Everything depends on the destination. It would have to be for a Champions League club. Barcelona and Real Madrid - you don't reject them," Lacazette told Le Parisien.
"I could stay at Lyon next season and have a terrible season, I could leave and have an incredible season.
"But today, between leaving and staying, it is not 50-50 - it is zero. I am not thinking about it. I am going to enjoy the national team and I will think about it after."
