A host of English scouts saw Glenavon's 2-1 first-round Europa League qualifying round victory over Norwegian outfit Molde last week.

The Evening Chronicle says a Newcastle United scout took in the game.

Alongside the Newcastle scout, representatives from Arsenal, Liverpool, Sheffield Wednesday, Hull City, Birmingham City, Celtic and Hearts were in attendance in Northern Ireland for Glenavon's 2-1 victory over Molde.

Featuring for Molde was teenage striker Erling Haaland, who has been linked with Manchester United and Juventus this month.
