Arsenal legend Henry breaks silence on Aston Villa, Egypt jobs

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry insists he's not panicking after missing out on two management jobs in the past week.

Since leaving his role as Belgium assistant coach, Henry has been linked with the posts at Aston Villa and also with the Egyptian national team.

But Henry posted to social media today: "Since announcing my decision to quit my position as a full-time TV consultant to pursue my ambition of becoming a manager, my name was subsequently associated with a number of positions at both the national and international levels.

"Unlike this misleading information that people can read right now, neither I nor my consultants have had discussions with any club or national federation. My intention has always been to be patient and I will make my decision at the right time."
