Arsenal have gone cold on a move for PSV Eindhoven midfielder Kevin Strootman.
The Daily Mail says Gunners boss Arsene Wenger wants to add a defensive midfielder next month.
Strootman has been scouted but could cost more than £20m.
Manchester United and Liverpool are also interested in the Holland international.
