Arsenal have made a cash offer for Trabzonspor midfielder Yusuf Yazici.

Fanatik says Arsenal are interested in securing his signature.

It is said the Gunners have tabled a £14.4m bid (€16m) for the Turkey international.

Arsenal will face competition from Monaco and Benfica with both making offers too.

Trabzonspor chief Muharrem Usta made it clear that he has no intention of selling him.

“I want to see Yusuf here for our 50th year anniversary squad," Usta said.

“He will be sold when the time is right, Yusuf will be an ambassador for the club and reach the highest level."
