Arsenal have focused their attentions on Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly.
The Telegraph is reporting that the Gunners have a central defender next on the agenda having secured the signature of Granit Xhaka.
The Swiss midfielder has joined Arsenal from German club Borussia Monchengladbach for £30million and now the North Londoners are preparing to go after Koulibaly.
The 24-year-old French-born Senegal international has been on Arsenal's radar for some time but they are now ready to lodge a genuine offer for his services.
Arsene Wenger wants a quality centre-half to add to the ranks of Laurent Koscielny, Gabriel Paulista and Per Mertesacker and has reportedly made Koulibaly a priority after landing his first choice signing in Xhaka.
A world-class striker is also believed to be on the Frenchman's agenda.
