Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale is delighted to receive a call-up to the England national team.

Ramsdale will be with the rest of the squad under the guidance of manager Gareth Southgate for the upcoming international break.

The call-up is a reward for Ramsdale's outstanding form with Arsenal over the past few weeks.

He told Sky Sports about the call-up: "It was something I was hoping would happen and you never know but I was happy to get the call - it's another proud moment for myself.

"Obviously it shows hard work from myself and getting myself into the team and into the spotlight for Gareth to pick me but now, whatever happens, I'll go, enjoy it and full focus on England now."
