Arsenal keeper Ramsdale: I see myself here for 15 years

Aaron Ramsdale has declared he wants to become an Arsenal legend.

The England goalkeeper is in his second season with the Gunners.

He said, "I never imagined leaving Bournemouth after a year and I never imagined leaving Sheffield United after a year. Now I have found a place where I can see myself playing for 10, 12 or 15 years. That's the goal.

"I want to play at the top for a long time and I hope I never have to leave the club so I can become some kind of hero and legend at the club.

"From the first conversation and from the first day, he (Mikel Arteta) has said that I must be myself and that I must not hide behind an image. I knew some of the guys from previous clubs, so I could joke straight away when I got here."

The 25-year-old's current contract runs until 2025 with an option for another year.
