Arsenal keeper Leno: Bundesliga and Bayern Munich sad and boring

Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno has taken a swipe at the Bundesliga.

With Bayern Munich again appearing champions-elect this season, Leno has branded the German league as "boring".

Leno told Goal: "Bayern are already leaders as always. It's sad and boring.

The last time Leno saw another club lift the trophy was in 2012, when he signed his permanent deal with Bayer Leverkusen. In that season Borussia Dortmund won the Bundesliga, but since then Bayern Munich has lifted the crown without fail.

"I could wish for some excitement in the Bundesliga, but I don't see that happening in the near future. Bavaria is too strong," adds Leno.

Bayern Munich will meet Borussia Mönchengladbach and Werder Bremen in the next two matches, respectively. If they win both, they are champions once again.
