Arsenal keeper Ejeheri signs first professional contract

Arsenal have secured goalkeeper Ovie Ejeheri to his first professional contract.

The 18-year-old has been with the club since he was eight years old.

According to the club's website, the towering goalkeeper is now a professional Arsenal player after signing on the dotted line.

Ejeheri has played for the club's various age-group teams, while he was in the matchday squad for the Under-23s on three occasions last term.

"It's a very, very special day for me," Ovie told Arsenal.com.

"My mum and my dad, they've helped me from my whole career, taking me to training, even when it was very, very hard for them, so it's a good moment for me and them.

"I'm really excited to keep this journey going."
