Arsenal keen on shifting Lacazette contract amid exit comments

Arsenal are unlikely to extend Alexandre Lacazette's contract, reports have revealed.

Lacazette, out of contract this summer, stated this week that he was in discussions with 'a lot of clubs' about his future.

For their part, the Gunners are keen to offload Lacazette's contract to use elsewhere, per football.london.

The Frenchman is currently earning £180,000 per week with the north London club.

A number of high earning players have been shifted by Arsenal in recent transfer windows.

Lacazette will now join David Luiz, Willian, Sead Kolasinac, Mesut Ozil and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as a high profile departure from the Emirates.

Jonathan David, Darwin Nunez and Alexander Isak are all being considered as options to replace Lacazette.
