Arsenal join Liverpool, Man Utd pursuit of Brighton defender White

Arsenal have joined Liverpool and Manchester United in the race for Brighton centre-back Ben White.

The Seagulls are determined not to lose the 23-year-old, who replaced the injured Trent Alexander-Arnold in England's Euros squad.

Suitors are being asked to pay £50m to sign White this summer.

According to The Mirror, that hasn't stopped Arsenal from pursuing a deal for the talented defender.

White shone during a loan spell with Leeds United in 2019/20 season before starring in the Prem with Brighton.

Mikel Arteta is hoping to shake up his defence after finishing eighth in the Premier League last season.

Manchester United and Liverpool are big fans of White, who is physically imposing and comfortable on the ball.
