Arsenal join Chelsea, Atletico Madrid in chase for Gulasci

Arsenal have joined the race for RB Leipzig goalkeeper Peter Gulasci.

News broke on Wednesday that Chelsea and Atletico Madrid had registered their interest in the former Liverpool man.

Gulasci has been pivotal for Leipzig over the past two seasons and is valued at £25million.

The Gunners are on the lookout for a new 'keeper to replace the ageing Petr Cech. The 35-year-old has showed signs of slowing down this season, and Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger wants to bring in someone with experience.

Hungary international Gulasci was released by the Reds after not making a single appearance for the club in five seasons.

His impressive play for Red Bull Salzburg earned him a move to their sister club at the end of the 2014/15 season.
