Arsenal are showing interest in Middlesbrough right-back Djed Spence.

The 21-year-old is currently on loan at Championship club Nottingham Forest.

Spence was impressive in the Forest's recent win over Arsenal in the FA Cup.

The Mirror says Mikel Arteta wants to bring the Englishman to north London.

However, Roma and AC Milan are also interested in the versatile defender.

Arteta wants to recruit another fullback following the departure of Hector Bellerin last summer.

Middlesbrough are demanding at least £10m to sell Spence.
