Everton have joined the interest in Gent striker Jonathan David.

The Gunners have held talks with David's agent, Nick Mavropanos, though Gent are yet to receive a bid in the region of their £23 million asking price.

Everton are interested too, though they are yet to move beyond the 'interest' stage into something more palpable.
